Fat Is Not Your Fault But You Can Take Control Now
As you age your body starts to fight against you. In your early twenties you woke up every morning energized and ready for anything. Now you wake up tired with the aches and pains of getting older. Everyone tells you that this is how life happens, how everyone feels. Your energy has decreased, your metabolism has slowed, and you can't seem to lose the fat around your mid section no matter what you try. You think back to your twenties and wonder, how did I get here?
Hormonal decline is a central element of the degenerative process known as aging, and is responsible for the decrease in energy levels, lack of sexual vitality, and a tendency to slow and steady increase in the proportion of fat to muscle. It is not surprising that more and more research shows that most of the diseases that kill millions of people and hospitalized each year are related to adverse changes in hormone levels. What the research does not tell you is the "down cycle of the Third Age" can stop, and your best life is really handy.
Common symptoms of decreased or altered levels of hormones include low body composition (increased fat mass, decreased lean body mass), decreased muscle strength, decreased bone mineral density and decreased quality of life characterized by low power consumption, increased emotional lability and irritability, and increased social isolation. Many also experience an increase in cardiovascular risk, loss of sexual desire, fatigue and joint pain.
There are many variables that contribute to the decline in hormone production. In the west, regimes contribute largely due to the increasing amount of processed carbohydrates, corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup and processed foods that alter the natural function of our insulin, growth hormone, leptin and other essential hormones that increase the risk to develop the above symptoms. American physicians and nutritionists as strongly influenced by "Food Cluster" and "Big Pharma" and will continue to recommend diets and nutritional guidelines that increase the speed of the aging cycle. But you can break this cycle today to take control of your diet and your life.
As the world has become more and more industrialized, our lives have become more and more sedentary. Our bosses stick us behind desks all day. TV executives produce "Must See Television," keeping us glued to our couches at night. As our activity level drops from that of our youth, our body responds by decreasing hormone production, thus perpetuating the cycle of aging.
Any type of exercise will cause an increase in the production of hormones, but intense exercise cause greater release of exercise performed at a low or moderate intensity. For example, strength training causes a release than aerobic exercise. Research shows that mounted on an exercise bike at a high intensity will increase by 166% in the production of hormones, but weight training at a high intensity leads to an increase of 400%. All training exercises are effective advocates for the release of your body's testosterone and growth hormone, but those involving muscle groups with high strength and large tend to be most effective. Apply maximum effort to fewer repetitions of squats, leg, Dead-lifts, overhead presses, bench presses and other Olympic-style lifts best results compounds. This is why exercise programs focused on the compounds of non-competition supersets and shown to provide sessions more intense and effective workout in the shortest possible time. When training to increase testosterone and growth hormone are also training to increase muscle mass and fat loss.
Fat Is Not Your Fault, but you can regain control of your life. You can break "The Downward Cycle of Aging" with minor changes to the food you are eating. With a better diet and only three short intense workouts a week, you can rejuvenate your body and your life.
